GIANT SCULPTURES AT CHATSWORTH HOUSE

For the fourth year running, an exhibition of giant sculptures will return to Chatsworth House - from 14th September Until 1st November. Southeby’s auction house is organising the "Beyond Limits" exhibition at the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. A life-size maquette for Anthony Gormley’s Angel of the North will be one of the highlight of the show, as will Henry Moore’s 1975 three piece Reclining Figure. Work by other UK artists such as Marc Quinn and Richard Hudson will be exhibited alongside international artists from 13 countries, including Spain’s Manolo Valdes. He is showing two bronzes: Mariposas and Ariadna I. Other artists displaying work at include India’s Subodha Gupta, and Columbia’s Fernando Botero
