Haven Cottage is named after Havenhill, the beautiful rugged hill you see looking due east of Netherton. Haven was our first cottage converted in 2007 from a two storey 17th Century barn in the curtilage of the Hall. Haven sleeps 4 people, it is an idyllic and luxurious home from home.
On the ground floor is a spacious sitting room the ideal place to unwind in comfort after a day out in the Dales. Or make use of the satellite television, DVD and stereo CD along with the games and films in the cottage available for your use.
On the ground floor there is also a large kitchen diner fully equipped with fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Upstairs there is a luxurious master bedroom, the second bedroom has two adult size bunk beds. The bathroom has a large shower and separate freestanding roll top bath, perfect to soak away the day. The cottage is heated by Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps using our own natural resources to give constant warmth with under floor heating and abundant hot water.
We are nestled in the tiny hamlet of Nether Bradbourne between the historic village of Tissington and Carsington Water, an ldyllic place to base your holiday.
Towards the end of the year we should have finished our indoor swimming pool and leisure area. In a few months two further beautiful cottages will be available. Watch this space for progress.
There are many beautiful walks and rides right from the doorstep and we are happy for you to bring your horses or dogs with you providing we have space.
And when you get back to you cottage you can relax, throw a log on the burner and enjoy a glass of wine or sit outside have a barbeque and take in the amazing views.
We have got a number of local pubs within walking distance or a very short drive serving good food and drink as well as the market towns of Ashbourne and Wirksworth nearby for the more adventurous.
