Description
High Hazels is one of two National Trust holiday cottages standing at the heart of the Elizabethan Hardwick Hall estate and dates back to Bess of Hardwick times. It pre-dates the new hall and was formerly the estates brewhouse, retaining 16th-century details.

Ground Floor: entrance hall leading to kitchen, sitting room with multi-fuel stove and sofa bed, dining room and fully adapted shower room.
First Floor: three bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 with 5' antique half tester mahogany bed and 1 with 5' antique brass bed, 1 twin), large bathroom with shower cubicle and separate lavatory and also a second separate lavatory. Second Floor: through landing with sofa leading to three bedrooms (1 single, 1 twin and 1 double bedroom with 5' bed).
