Hog Cottage is steeped in history and was once a mill cottage, for workers at a local Hat Factory. Only a stroll away from Wirksworth, the town provides shops, restaurants and pubs.
The cottage offers a cosy Lounge, which has a Colour Television/Video, Music Centre and Living-Flame Gas Fire.
A relaxing snug which leads into a luxury appointed Kitchen, with a Gas Oven and Hob, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Food Mixer, Dishwasher and Washing Machine.
Just off the Kitchen is a dramatic Dining room which leads out onto the secure Patio area.
There are two double bedrooms, one offering a Colour TV/Video and the other with an option of two single beds.
Also upstairs is a luxury appointed Bathroom with bath and separate Power Shower.
There is a south facing garden, with patio tables and chairs.

All bed linen including Duvet covers, plenty of towels and t-towels are provided free of charge.

The cottage has Gas fired central heating and a living gas flame fire.

There is a selection of books, videos, DVD’s and games.

There is hairdryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, TV, video, DVD, music centre with CD facilities/I.Pod Connection, Bedroom TV and BBQ with garden chairs and table.

Two dogs are permitted at extra charge of £10 per dog per stay.

Car Parking
Parking for one medium-sized car on the no-through road outside the Cottage. However the road is steep and narrow with a sharp bend and some guests prefer to park their car at the bottom of the road (900 yards). People carriers are not recommended.
Please note
The cottage stairs are quite steep and may not be suitable for the elderly.
Start Dates and Short Breaks
Hog Cottage start dates for weekly bookings are Friday or Saturday and during off peak season 3 nightly breaks are taken on a Friday and 4 nightly weekly breaks are taken on a Monday. .
