Lark's Rise self-catering cottage has been designed for disabled guests, enabling them to have an enjoyable holiday.
All the doorways in the cottage are wider than a standard wheelchair, allowing freedom of movement throughout.
The shower room has a wheel-in shower with a seat or we can provide you with a shower chair if you prefer. The wash basin has lever taps and a low mirror with a grab rail on the wall. The toilet has a drop rail and a grab rail to enable you to transfer and we also have a built up seat.
The double bedroom is a very pleasant room, where you can look out over green fields. It has a colour television and radio alarm and has enough space by the side of the bed to transfer from a wheelchair.
The twin room also has enough room for a wheelchair and has fabulous french windows where you can sit and watch what's going on outside (and keep an eye out for wayward hens!). There's a colour television in this room too.
In the lounge we have a fire-side chair with high back and solid arms which several arthritis sufferers have found very useful.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine.
There is a car parking space right outside the cottage reserved for disabled guests only.
