Description
This delightful detached 16th century self catering holiday cottage is situated in Calver conservation area, in the heart of the Peak District National Park, and conveniently located near Bakewell (4 miles), Chatsworth House (2 miles), Eyam Plague Village (2 miles) and Haddon Hall (7 miles). Calver is a pretty village with a selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and Post Office all just a short walk away. The cottage also has its own off-street parking for one car. The accommodation comprises:
Dining hall with wood burning stove, breakfast kitchen with 2 oven aga and microwave. Cosy living room with leather sofas, colour TV and DVD player. Bathroom with bath, separate shower and shaver point. Upstairs wc, utility room with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedroom one with king size bed, bedroom 2 with full size single zip/link beds (can be linked on request to provide a super king size bed), also additional single bed if required for 5th person. The cottage has full central heating. Central heating, towels and linen are all included. A welcome pack with homemade and local products is provided to get you started with your break.

• Chatsworth House, the home of the Dukes of Devonshire, is one of the Peak District's premier tourist attractions
• The National Trust is a charity and is completely independent of Government. We protect and open to the public over 300 historic houses and gardens and 49 industrial monuments and mills.
• Masterpiece of neo-classical architecture, designed by Robert Adam in the 1760s.
• Sudbury Hall, the lavish interior featured in the BBC's Pride and Prejudice and is home to one of the grandest long galleries and staircases in England
• Hardwick Hall, a spectacular Tudor treasure house originally built for 'Bess of Hardwick', Elizabethan England's second most powerful and wealthy woman
• Haddon Hall, a medieval manor house belonging to the Dukes of Rutland, is another major attraction in the area
• Tissington Hall, built by Francis FitzHerbert in 1609 to replace the moated manor house to the north of the church, it has served the FitzHerbert family as their main home for the best part of 400 years.
• Eyam Hall, the historic Derbyshire home of the Wright family. The current family is the latest in a long line of Wrights who have been fortunate enough to live in this beautiful house for over 300 years.

• Poole's Cavern is a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave situated in the beautiful woodland of Buxton Country Park. One of the great caves of the Peak District.
